"El Instituto de Investigaciones Históricas reedita Los manifiestos en náhuatl de Emiliano Zapata, libro en el que Miguel León-Portilla analiza dos manifiestos expedidos por Emiliano Zapata en 1918 y dirigidos a los seguidores de Domingo Arenas, jefe tlaxcalteca. Se incluyen la transcripción de dichos textos en náhuatl y dos versiones al castellano, una literal y otra libre. Ambos escritos son buenos ejemplos de cómo se empleó y adaptó el náhuatl a 'los conceptos de un movimiento revolucionario que apelaba a principios ideológicos y políticos para los que había que buscar una adecuada expresión'." -- tomado de la contraportada. |
