• Datos biográficos o históricos: Among his works of the 1970s, draps (rags) stand out, fabrics subject to a formal manipulation process for expressive and symbolic purposes. It is constant in his painting the use of color for expressive purposes and a certain material quality as a result of the value granted to the production process of the work, which involves the choice and combination of techniques and heterogeneous materials (collage, assemblage, paste-cardboard , paper, reeds, branches, fabrics, resin and everyday utensils). The result is strongly expressive works, populated with symbolic forms, not alien to the concepts of ritual, magic, religion or mythology, whose references are found in primitive cultures, Catalan Romanesque art or pre-Columbian cultures. The influence of artists such as Braque, Miró or Tàpies is also evident. Among its varied production are theatrical scenographies (The public of Federico García Lorca, Barcelona, 1987), series of lithographs and serigraphs, actions of a conceptual nature (Acció Zero), posters, ceramics, paintings and sculptures. In 2002 he debuted as a stage director with the opera-oratorio Oedipus Rex, by Igor Stravinski.
