Wikipedia, Nov. 14, 2024: Gerardo Beltrán (Gerardo Beltrán Cejudo (born August 11, 1958 in Mexico City), Mexican poet and translator of fiction. He has lived in Poland since 1991. He is currently a university lecturer at the Institute of Hispanic Studies at the University of Warsaw, where he deals with Latin American poetry and the theory and practice of literary translation. He obtained his Ph.D. based on a dissertation on translations of Polish poetry into Spanish. He translates fiction into Spanish from Polish, German, English and Lithuanian.
