Her research and training projects have received support from CONACYT, FONCA, Fundación Jumex, Secretaría de Educación Pública, Patronato de Arte Contemporáneo (PAC), the Getty Foundation, and the TyPA Foundation. He is a founding member of the Plataforma Arte Educación (PAE) and a regular contributor to art publications. His current research project is titled: "Contingent Methodologies: Pedagogical Contributions of Mexican Contemporary Art to the Epistemologies of the South."
