“Helguera caricaturista es una antología que recoge lo más significativo de uno de los grandes caricaturistas políticos, humoristas y artistas gráficos de nuestro tiempo, Antonio Helguera. Curado y editado por su amigo y colega José Hernández, este libro recorre puntualmente las distintas etapas y facetas de la obra de Helguera. Desde sus inicios como caricaturista político en El Día hasta sus emblemáticos cartones políticos de los sexenios de Salinas, Zedillo, Fox, Calderón y Peña Nieto, donde fue sin duda uno de los artífices de la sátira y la crítica al poder. También se recogen sus retratos y diversas colaboraciones en publicaciones de las que formó parte integral como El Chahuistle y El Chamuco, así como una muestra de la mítica sección Monosapiens, que publicó durante varios años en Proceso junto con José Hernández.
